‘Horses and Mules in WWI’ – NEW program 2pm April 18 at Whitecappers 50+ FREE

On Tuesday April 18th at 2pm join the Chestermere Historical Foundation in the Whitecappers 50+ Room at the CRCA, to explore “Horses and Mules in WWI’ with Samantha Lemna. “Horses and mules were everywhere during the First World War, yet histories and popular media have neglected them. They served as mounts for officers and men; they performed countless tasks as draught animals; and packed ammunition and supplies under the most trying conditions.
