Hodgson Plaque Unveiling 17 Sep RSVP by Sep 9 and Volunteers Needed Sep 10th at Fair

     Thank you to Anthem for embracing history and recognizing the Hodgson Family. Join the celebration and unveiling of a plaque on Saturday Sept 17th 11am in Chelsea — in the park off Chelsea Heath.  Enter via pathway. This would be between 263 and 271 on Chelsea Heath. ( Head West on West Lakeview Drive to the end, turn left that is Chelsea Heath).

Many of you may recall the red barn on the #1A Highway, also the home of Smoky Farm Meats–that is the farmland owned by the Hodgson which is being honoured with this plaque.

REMEMBER YOU MUST RSVP. By Sep 9 at noon.

 

Country Fair Sep 10th – ‘A Day in the Life’ 10am to 4pm 

     Your help is needed for this display to be held in the area outside the curling rink at the CRCA 10am to 4pm. 

One Volunteer needed for 10am to 12 noon shift. 

THREE volunteers for the 12 noon to 2pm shift.  Volunteers will help with describing the ‘vintage’ items to visitors and also making butter and serving it as a snack.

      Catch the firetruck in the parade starting 9:30 at Middle School ending at the CRCA.  One more volunteer needed to throw candies!
