       Note that there is NO regular meeting or program on Tuesday January 16th 2024. 

       Instead, mark your calendars for Tuesday February 20th for regular meeting at 1pm followed by ‘Dairying in Chestermere’ at 2pm. 

      Agenda for Meeting Feb 20th and Minutes from November will be sent out early February. 

      For many years Chestermere was a centre for the dairying industry around Calgary. The Laycocks, the Carlyles, and the Hodgsons were some of the early dairymen.
      Local resident and historian Kay Clarke will talk about the various dairying operations and how important they were to the business of agriculture in this district from the early 1900s to 1940s.   

       CHF is pleased to hear that Chestermere Strathmore MLA Chantelle de Jonge will be attending. 

      Following the presentation stay for questions and also coffee and tea.
